Cousins are Great!

I have so many great memories of my cousins. Fun times on the farm growing up. Visiting my cousins was always fun and still is. We were so blessed as cousins. As I think about why we were so blessed I came up with an idea. All my aunts and uncles put a high value in going to church. We as cousins had parents that believed in the Bible and the instruction it gave to them and the church was a foundation of faith for their families. Going to church is not like a magic recipe for all things to go good in your life. There were certainly difficult times and heartache. However being involved in a bible believing church does have many benefits. The church is like an extended family that cares for you in times of sorrow. And the church family also celebrates with you in times of happiness and milestones. The church is where we can sort out all the questions of life and realize the way to Eternal life is becoming more important.

The last few years it seems like getting together with cousins happens only when we celebrate the life of someone passing on to eternity. My hope and prayer is that any cousin or family member reading this will know the truth about eternity and will plan for it. Our creator God loves you and has provided you the way. Lets honor our fathers and mothers and seek to learn what they did every Sunday and perhaps everyday life. Love you,
